Dear Students,                                                “We are at where Tourism started…”

Alanya Faculty of Business was established in 2005 within Akdeniz University and started its academic life with Tourism Management department. With the establishment of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in 2015, it was named as Faculty of Business Administration. With the establishment of Tourism Faculty in 2016, department of Tourism Management was transferred to this faculty in 2017. Now our faculty has around 1000 students in two departments, which are Tourism Management and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.

Alanya is highly dense in tourism activities and hosts millions of visitors every year with its more than 600 accommodation units and 180,000 beds. Having their education in such an important tourism center as Alanya help our students develop themselves and find distinguished jobs. Additionally, our faculty have cooperation agreements both locally and internationally with businesses from different fields of tourism industry and our students may also have training or exchange studies via Erasmus, Mevlana, Farabi and Orhun exchange programs.

We offer our students theoretical lectures like marketing or accounting to develop their managerial skills, and we also teach technological aspects of tourism industry like automation software with certification exams. Other than compulsory English lessons each semester, we offer our students Russian or German language lectures. Our faculty also have two practice and implementation kitchens for our gastronomy department.

We will be happy to see you, dear young students, in our faculty for a career in the field of tourism at Alanya, which has important privileges for tourism education.
